With Oophaga happened the same as with Ranitomeya: I wanted to model Oophaga pumilio species and I was a bit overwhelmed by the huge variety of forms.
The Oophaga pumilio frogies are found in Central America, from Nicaragua to Panama. They are found from undisturbed forests to plantations. Although it belongs to the group of “dart frogs”, known for its potent poison, this species is not the most toxic. All are small, about 2 cm, and with vivid colors. Although they seem different species, they are all color varieties of the same species.
If you want to buy any, or the complete collection, you can find them in my store.
