Iberian Marbled Newts

In my opinion, the marbled newt is perhaps the most beautiful urodel in the Iberian Peninsula. These green and black colors are spectacular. So this was, together with the fire salamander (who disputes the first position in colorful), the first species of newt I wanted to replicate.

In fact, there are two species, the common marbled newt (Triturus marmoratus) and pygmy marbled newt (Triturus pygmaeus), both exclusive of the Iberian Peninsula and a bit of France.
