Here are some of the pendants I have made with snakes motif.
This was the first series of necklaces and earrings colored frogs. The frogs are replicas of species that actually exist. Specifically, are dendrobatids, small creatures endowed with one of the most potent poisons known and living in the rainforests of Central and South America. These pendants and earrings were very successful in the first fair that I brought, and wisked away.
At first, it was a figurine, but soon I saw that it had the optimum size for a brooch, and without changing the size of the animal.
This is one of the smallest known mammals, and the brooch or badge is made to the actual size. It is called Etruscan Shrew or Dwarf Shrew.
With these four species, I started doing tortoises broochies. The first I wanted to do was the radiated tortoise, but seeing photos of other similar species, I decided to model and paint the other three. As with all the others, they can stick a pin brooch, pin needle or magnet to use as fridge magnet.

Lampropeltis is a genus of snakes colored in spectacular fashion. They are called “milksnakes” or “kingsnakes”, and have the habit of eating, among other prey, other species of snakes, including venomous snakes such as rattlesnakes.
Its colorful diversity motivated me to create a series of brooches and pins, I show here in part.
As always can be founded it in my online store.
Still there are more Dendrobates tinctorius brooches. Here they are.
